Who we are

KinderSouls is a registered NDIS disability-support provider based in Shop 25, 1-5 Jacobs Street, Bankstown NSW 2200. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What personal information we collect

Through this website we may collect:

• General enquiries: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and the content of the message you send us.
• Referrals: the referrer's name, email and phone number, and details about the participant being referred — including their name and the supports they need. Depending on what a referrer chooses to share, this can also include the participant's date of birth and NDIS number.

Referral information can include health-related information and other sensitive information about the participant's disability and support needs. We only collect this sensitive information with consent (via the referral form's consent checkbox) and only for the purpose of responding to the referral.

Why we collect it, and how we use it

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, assess how we can help, and — where relevant — arrange or coordinate appropriate NDIS supports for the participant. We do not use your information for marketing or any unrelated purpose, and we never sell it.

How it is stored and handled

We keep the information we collect to a minimum. When you submit an enquiry or referral form, the details are emailed directly to our team so a staff member can follow up with you. We store only a minimal record in our system — enough to track and action your enquiry.

Sensitive referral identifiers, such as a participant's date of birth and NDIS number, are emailed to our staff but are not retained in the website's database. This limits how long, and where, that sensitive information exists in our systems.

Data retention, access, correction and deletion

We keep enquiry and referral records only for as long as needed to respond to you and meet our record-keeping obligations as an NDIS provider, and delete or de-identify them once they are no longer required.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, contact us at info@kindersouls.com.au or 1300 227 515, and we will action your request promptly.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to provide our services — for example, with trusted service providers who help us run this website, such as email delivery and bot-protection providers, who process data only to deliver those functions — or where we are required to do so by law. We do not disclose your information to any other third party without your consent.

Security

Forms on this site are submitted securely and protected against automated abuse. Access to enquiry and referral records is restricted to authorised KinderSouls staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at info@kindersouls.com.au so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services or obligations change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
